Please Pray

I know I've been MIA for a while now, but if there is anything worth posting about, this is probably it.

Most of you who read my blog probably know one of my best friends, Tiffany. One of the things that's so amazing about our friendship is how it has evolved over the years. In high school, we did most everything together. In college, we were separated by distance, but kept in touch with visits or e-mails. In our adult lives, we've probably forged an even stronger bond, which has deepened through our respective marriages & becoming moms.

We were both blessed with our first and second sons around almost the same time. Watching them grow and become friends over the last 3 1/2 years has been such a blessing to our friendship. We were able to spend a few days together just a couple of weeks ago and the boys all had such a great time, as did we!

We try to get a picture of Jack & Silas eating breakfast every time they visit... this is how they cooperated this year:)

Silas, their oldest, turned four on Saturday and we kept thinking about him all day. He is a beautiful, smart, funny four, going on fourteen, year old. We are so blessed to have him in our lives! Just two days later, their world took a crazy turn of events. Silas is currently at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis and they are seeking lots and lots of prayers.

Please check out Tiff's blog for specifics- she does an AMAZING job detailing what has been going on and praising God for his hand in all of this. In the midst of this storm, their unwavering faith allows them an opportunity to give glory to His name. Read on and please, please keep Silas and their family in your prayers. He's one strong little guy!
