J (to Will, who kept nudging him): Will! Stop it- I'm NOT a TOY!
J (to Will, again, who is just starting to sit on the stools at the kitchen counter & taking over Jack's space): Please keep your hands to yourself, Will! (While using his arm as a barrier between their breakfast plates... Do you think he hears me say this 1,000 times a day?!?)
Me (After picking Jack up from preschool on Tues., we walked by their outside play area/garden): Did you guys play outside today?
J: Yep, but we didn't GROW anything (said with major disappointment. Our tomato plants must have been more fun this summer than all of the other stuff we did outside!).
Me: Jack, did you make any new friends at preschool today?
J: Yep, Noah. (Long Pause) Noah- you know, like the Ark, mom.
Me (After hearing a loud bodily noise outside last night): Whoa! Who was that?
J: DAD! (The funny thing was, it wasn't... it was totally one of the boys:))
J: DAD! (The funny thing was, it wasn't... it was totally one of the boys:))
Ah, the little things...
