We've come a long way, baby...

So, we were just realizing how far we've come in our marriage. For those who don't know, we live in a divided household... Vikings versus Packers.

Our rivalry used to be pretty intense. When we were first married, we couldn't even watch the game in the same room. It was like we had something more than our pride at stake.

Then there were the times we actually got to go to the games together... at least we were both surrounded by fellow fans to high five.

This weekend, we realized, we had the game on, but we were busy and only half-watched it. I even told him that I thought Green Bay was going to win it in the end... but, alas, my Vikes pulled out a win. Not sure if it is just that we're more mature, busier that to care about NFL football or that our teams just aren't that good anymore, but I think we're past our days of the same game on different TVs & taunting each other. We'll see what happens next year (and who can better influence our boys to pick their team:))...
