I can't believe that it's already time to start thinking about school... preschool, that is. I remember when I was pregnant with Jack that people would tell me I needed to start thinking about where I was going to send him and that I would need to get him on a list before I knew it. Is it really already here? I feel like that was just yesterday and I'm probably not even that on the ball with all of this.
How do you know where to send your child?!? For a SAHM, this is really the first time I've had to worry about who is going to help shape and influence my baby. It's so important for me to know that Jack is in an environment where he is loved, nurtured, learns good social skills and about God's love for him.
I've tried doing some internet research, but there's not a lot of preschools with comprehensive websites. I've talked to moms with older kids, who've done their homework ahead of me. I've thought about sending him where one of his friends will go (for those who know Jack & his history with the church nursery, this may be the ticket to actually getting him to GO to preschool).
Until today, I thought I was just making a decision for next year. Then I realized that I need to think about his 4 year-old preschool year. Wouldn't I want to keep him at the same school? What are they days & hours for the programs for 4 year-olds?
In any case, I've panicked and have him on two lists, will be waiting in line at church on Saturday to get him on the list there & will probably get his name on a couple more. I'm sure that the time to make a decision about where to actually send him will be here before I know it, but for now, I'm covering my bases... and taking suggestions:)

WOW! That's big stuff...I'm kind of envious actually. :) Love your new look for the blog. Almost looks like you started scrapbooking! ha.
We've been there, done that, and are still there! Joey went to Plymouth Nursery School(2-year-old preschool), now he's going to Shepherd of the Valley (2 days a week for 3-year olds) and I'd be interested in checking out Hope. Are you checking there? Then, I've heard that some programs for 4-year olds are free (if they are approved by the state), so I kind of want to check out that. Okay, email me: holly.coppola@gmail.com, so we can discuss more! : )
