This past month, we've been enjoying lots of warm weather outings to Ashby Park, the zoo, the Iowa State Fair and a memorable family vacation "Up North" (see a separate entry on that coming soon....).
Jack & Brynn catching some rays at the pool...
Jack collecting "eggs" at the Iowa State Fair.
We had our good friends, the Bobendriers, come for a visit mid-August. Tiffany & I have been friends since high school and it's so much fun seeing our friendship take on a whole new dynamic now that we're both moms. We have so much fun sharing in the challenges and joys of motherhood and watching our boys play together (both sets are about six months apart). We are so blessed to each have three awesome boys in our families! Luckily, we're able to connect every couple of months and the boys seem to pick up right where they left off...Silas (almost 3) & Jack (2 1/2)... we take a new picture of them at the island almost every time they visit... They're becoming such little boys!
The boys & I rode a camel at the zoo... I think I was more nervous than them!
Titus (9 months) & Will (4 1/2 months) take their first of many side-by-side pictures.
I can't believe this summer is already over. School actually started here two weeks ago and I got very sentimental, since this is probably our last "non-first day of school." Where does the time go?!?
