Like many families, especially where one parent stays home, it's really important to me to try to save some money here and there. I am a self-professed coupon queen. I have a coupon organizer, complete with tabbed dividers (one for groceries, Target, retail, restaurants, etc.). I am a sucker for a good deal... I buy things I don't really need if it's a good bargain.
So today, after two days of being mostly at home with runny-nosed boys, I decided we needed to venture out for the deal of the day... $1.50 cheesecake. In honor of the Cheesecake Factory's 30th birthday, they're going back to 1978 prices on their little slices of heaven.
We tried the Lemon Raspberry cheesecake. It was so light and refreshing that Jack and I managed to put away the whole slice. Our dining companions tried the 30th anniversary cake (chocolate cake layered with original cheesecake) and the chocolate raspberry cheesecake (one of my faves). Both looked like winners to me.
So, forget your dinner menu & hurry over to the Cheesecake Factory... Yum!

I think they need to have the $1.50 cheesecake offer about once a month, and just let you order that!
Yumm, it makes me hungry just reminiscing about it!
