Last weekend my in-laws were especially amazing & took both boys for the weekend! While Nick and I lived it up with our kid-free friends in Des Moines (& missed our kiddos lots- we'd never been home alone without them), the boys had a ball on the farm! They spent tons of time soaking up the fresh air- playing, helping out & their favorite... hanging out at the horse barn. Both of them even rode Buddy... Will for the first time! Luckily, Snooks got some pics of all the fun weekend festivities (sorry- I can't figure out how to post them other than link to Shutterfly- if you know how, clue me in!):

Can't wait to head back to the farm in a couple of weeks. I'm sure we'll have a hard time getting them to come inside for bed!

oooh...I would love a weekend alone like that, but I don't know if I could leave the boys? Good for you to take the time for yourselves. We need to do that soon.
