Although we've been MIA for the past couple months, we've been keeping busy & having fun.... too much fun to find time to blog! What better occasion to resume posting than Jack's 4th birthday?!?
Jack snuck into our room this morning, came right to my side of the bed and said, "Mom, is today my birthday?" Of course he knew it was his birthday- he's been counting down all week and is so excited to turn four, but I think he wanted to make sure it was really today!
We've opened presents, had a yummy donut breakfast, gone bowling & out for pizza. So much fun crammed into one morning & the day is only half over!
It's so hard for me to believe that Jack is 4. I have a hard time remembering life before him a lot, but at the same time, I can remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. In four years, he's grown up so much.
As a four year old, he:
- loves his friends and family
- could play games all day long
- loves to sing and dance
- is learning SO much & has an unbelievable memory
- loves school
- is very tender-hearted & sensitive
- still loves to give & get hugs & kisses
I am so blessed to be Jack's mom. He is such an amazing little guy and I love watching him become his own person more and more everyday. We love you so much, Jack!!! Happy birthday!

And every year just gets better and better in its own way! I, too, find it hard to believe that Jack is four -- how fast the years go!! You are the best 'first' grandson I could have ever imagined being blessed with, Jack! I love you! :-)
