Wild Will Turns 3!

I'm a day late, but yesterday was full of celebrating, heading home & getting ready for tonight's birthday festivities...

My baby boy turned 3. I can't believe it! I really think about when he was born and it feels like I was just having the debate of whether or not I should head to Bunco when I started to feel a little funny, went into labor and had a baby by the time Bunco was starting. It's so hard to imagine that was THREE years ago!

Will is one-of-a-kind. He's definitely a crazy little entertainer. He is a total ham and know that he can use his silly antics or cheesy faces to try and get out of trouble, melt his mama's heart or get a laugh out of most people.

He is obsessed with anything Twins (he wants to be Joe Mauer when he "gets bigger, bigger, bigger"), Hawkeyes, Vikings and Packers. He likes to dress himself and is usually wearing a jersey or something with numbers on the front (even if it means his shirt is on backwards). He loves to play all sports and is actually pretty good at throwing, if I do say so myself.

Last fall, he developed a love for Iron Man and can't wait to watch it (when he "get bigger, bigger, bigger"). His superhero love has also evolved to include Spiderman (a costume he wears a lot). He loves anything "Buzz and Woody."

We spent his birthday wrapping up our trip to Chattanooga... streamers and presents in the hotel room, a big birthday waffle at breakfast, a trip to the zoo, pizza for dinner, Sweet Cece's frozen yogurt for dessert.

He's been talking about "his party" since before Jack's birthday, so we knew we had to do something. He doesn't really have a good group of his own friends yet, so we invited all the neighborhood kids over for cake and ice cream tonight. A perfect way to cap off the birthday celebrations.

Ah, Will... you have so much spirit in all you do. You have a personality I could have never imagined. You are super silly, have a big heart, love your brother and Lexi so much, make everyone laugh and are such an amazing gift from God. I'm so thankful that I get to be your mama. I know that life with you will never be dull! I love you SO much!

He is truly a blessing and keeps us smiling and laughing whenever we connect on Skype or are lucky enough to be together! We couldn't ask for a better little grandson!
