Happy Anniversary!

So, I lied... I spoke of my return to the world of blogging too soon. Not sure what I was thinking posting that & then heading to MN for a week... Maybe I'll be back for good this time???

About this time seven years ago, I was just seeing Nick for the first time on our wedding day! It's amazing how quickly the time has gone, and yet unreal to think of all that has happened in our lives in that same time.

I loved our wedding day. We had so many friends and family help us celebrate, had a gorgeous day and most importantly, we got to make our commitment to love each other UNCONDITIONALLY.

Nick completely exemplifies the super popular wedding reading from 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8. We didn't use this verse in our wedding (I think it seemed too over-used or something), but it is completely the way I feel about Nick. He is all of these things and so much more. :

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always perseveres."

In the past seven years, we have been so blessed. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by Nick's side, seeing what is in store for us.
