Christmas #3... finally!

On a day when I least expected to have time to blog, I have a few spare minutes... and want to get out from under my bogged down blog. Sorry that you've had to miss out on countless funny antics and good stories due to my slacker blogging.

Although it seems forever ago, we had an awesome Christmas with the Andersens! It's already been a month since we met up with Nanny Nooks & Bapa Reid, Nick's three sisters and their families at the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City... it was the best! I wasn't sure what to expect... our boys have never stayed at a hotel & I doubted their ability to sleep well in a shared room with lots of outside noise. I'm not sure if it was the excitement, all of the running around and swimming or the comfy pull out couch & pack-n-play, but they did great.

We all went out to eat (I don't know that I've ever been to a restaurant with so many kiddos, but they were SO good, I couldn't believe it), swam and played in the waterpark a ton (I think Nick & I had more fun than the boys), had an insane gift opening (I thought we were cutting back...), went to story time at the hotel (100 kids in their jammies is adorable).

Jack LOVED all the time with his cousins. He kept asking where they were, what they were doing and wanted to spend every minute with them. I really hope he stays so excited as he grows up... I know they'll have so much fun together! M is 9, K is 7, C is 5, K is 4, C is 4, J is 2, and W & M are almost 1... what a brood!
